Evaluation and Feedback

Pre Production Audience Feedback on our idea and treatment: 

Overall, the class liked our idea and we did get positive feedback. However, we were told to consider lighting as filming at night may become an issue and cause problems. Also, we were told to stick to a simple idea and not over complicate the story. 

After pitching our idea to the class we have come to a conclusion of of what the reason of suicide will be be after discussing it and getting feedback. Out of the five reasons, we have narrowed it down to two. These are: Anxiety and Guilt. We are thinking to combine these two together. 

We now have to plan where we will be filming and what characters we need to play a part in our short film.

We will all implement from these action points. As a group we have to choose one location out of the two locations ( Regents Canal/ Olympic Park Canal ) and we now need to plan the times that we will film as it is clear that we cannot film at night as viewing may become difficult if we alter camera setting and there may be a risk of grainy recordings. 

The focus group was very useful as we got to ask the class about what reason we should decide on, when we put it to a vote guilt and anxiety got the most votes. This really helped us to stick to one decision. We also got opinions on what the reason for guilt should be, the reasons varied from witnessing something the could've stopped, to letting something happen to a family member, and to letting a team down. We need to discuss what the final reason should be.
